Unforgettable Ski touring on the South Europa’s peaks
The Pyrennes are wild mountains, steep and look very difficult to climb. Nevertheless, they are the most famous place for ski touring in Spain. The highlight of this winter trip will be not just the climb of the famous Pico de Aneto (3404m) and Monte Perdido (3355m) but also many other interesting peaks of central Pyrenees.
Enjoy the lonely environment during the cold season when just few people touch these wild slopes. On the southernmost glacier of Europa or on the wild slopes with the best firn snow, what is certain is the perfect mix of sun and awesome mountains.
Nothing will be missing; a glass of the famous Rioja will be the great conclusion of the day.

Skills required:
Considering that the Pyrenees are quite unknown for the Ski touring is required a good adapting capacity and spirit of adventure.
A body shape for 4-7 ski days with a vertical daily gain of max 1400m is also required. About the downhill level, it is important to be able to ski in a safe way also with difficult snow conditions.
Climate
The best snow condition in the Pyrenees is at the begin of the year. The trip takes place in a severe winter environment of high mountain where the weather can change very fast and could be very cold. Even the snow condition according to the temperature can change quickly. Usually prevails the powder snow or the firn, but it is also possible to find some crust or windy snow.

The program in according to the weather condition can be changed directly in the place. A lot of tours require stable weather and good snow conditions, therefore the guide can decide do modify something to offer you the best service.
