Discovering the "Enchanted Mountains".
A ski mountaineering tour to explore the three major mountain ranges of the Apennines.
Snow conditions as this winter are very difficult to find, so we have decided to catch the occasion and go!!!
We will drive directly to the Sibillini Mountains with dinner and overnight in Giulianova (TE). The next day we will go to discover the Gran Sasso mountain massif climbing the Corno Grande peak, the highest elevation of Apennines. We will conclude our ski raid in the Majella mountain group where we have many possibilities, among them the Monte Amaro with the famous downhill “Rave”

Day 1. Early morning departure in direction Marche. With 5-6 hours along the motorway Bologna-Ancona-Ascoli Piceno we get Forca di Presta where we put the skis climbing Monte Vettore and Redentore. The descent is towards the flat land of Castelluccio. Overnight in Hotel with B&B treatment.
Day 2. In 1 hour driving we reach Prati di Tivo. Through the lift at the begin and then with skies we climb Corno Grande, big peak of the Gran Sasso massif. From there are possible great downhill lines!!!
In the late afternoon we will go to the Spa of Caramanico or if it is too late to Pescara. Overnight in Hotel with B&B treatment.
Day 3. Day to discover the famous group of Majella passing through the Monte Rapina-Pescofalcone massif and climbing Monte Amaro. The descent will be to the famous “Rava della Giumenta Bianca”. In relation to the weather, snow and group conditions are possible many other great downhill!!! Overnight in Caramanico with B&B treatment.
Day 4. Another fantastic tour on the famous “Rave della Majella” or in the Veline-Sirente group, it depends to how many energies remain… Overnight in Caramanico with B&B treatment.
