Are you looking for a new and challenging powder destination? Look no further! Georgia’s mountains offer some of the best skiing in the world – and we take you to Goderdzi Pas in Georgia. The best: The Ski Resort has opened only in December 2015 and offers brand new lifts to reach our breath taking freeride terrain. There are many places where only view people have skied before.
The Goderzi Pass is located in the very heart of the Caucasus Mountains. Surrounded by some of Europe’s highest peaks it has some of the finest high-altitude powder in Europe and offers downhill skiing up to the 4 200 meter level. The deep snow and the absence of stones and any avalanche risk make Goderzi Pass an ideal place for freeriding.
How do we get there: From the Black Sea coast town Batumi an exciting roadtrip will take us in about 3-4 hours thruogh beautiful landscape to a town called Danisparauli. Because of heavy snowfalls, in the winter time the road ends here and we have to change vehicle: A Snowcat will take us to the Goderdzi Pass at about 2100 meters. During the next 6 days we will enjoy incredible skiing all around Goderdzi Pass.

Who's it for?
Freeriding in Georgia is suitable for all powder fans who are safe and good skiers in all snow conditions. Participants must have of piste experience and able to hike uphill for at least one hours (little hike with skins can be necessary)
The price includes:
- assistance by a stately recognized mountain guide
- 5 freeride days
- 5 x nights in double rooms in hotel with half pension
- 1 x night in double rooms with breakfast in Batumi
- transfer from Batumi to Goderdzi Pass and back
- RC insurance
Extra cost:
- travel costs to Batumi

- dinner in Batumi from 12 Euro
- Single room supplement
- eventually snow cat costs: 40 € per day
Equipment:
- Safety equipment including avalanche beacon, probe and shovel
- ideally an avalanche backpack
- Freeride Skis with touring Bindings and climbing skins
Moreover, the basics such as a warm hat, gloves, sunscreen and all your personal belonging. Plenty of snack supplies like dry fruits and power bars for quick energy. Remember: There are no supermarkets or pharmacies around!

Day 1: Arrival in Batumi and transfer to Goderdzi Pass
Day 2-5: Breath-taking powder skiing every day!
The terrain is very diverse, with just some single trees and wide open slopes. The stately recognized Mountain Guide will decide, depending on snow and avalanche conditions, where to ski every day. Many runs runs end up right nearby the gondola terminal, so a lot of skiing is guaranteed!!!
Day 6: Return to Batumi
Day 7: Good-by and catch the plan back home
