One of the most beautiful canyons, which is possible to walk along. You set off from Mezzocorona loc.Ischia and climb up two spectacular and exposed steps (optional) to then follow a steep zig zagging path from where it is possible to admire the beautiful geometric shapes of the Piana Rotalaiana’s vineyards. You then enter the scenic canyon where the ferrata Giovanelli begins which along handrails and iron steps climbs up the canyon, then over large boulders it crosses the torrent which runs along the bottom of the gorge, and at the end of it the canyon opens up offering incredible sceneries thanks to a majestic waterfall. Once the ferrata finishes you reach the area called Località Bait dei Manzi to then reach Località Monte and before this it is possible to walk across the brand new hanging walkway which crosses Val della Villa. 125 metres of adrenaline as you walk over the bridge which hangs between two sides of the mountains 130 metres off the ground from where it is possible to catch a glimpse of the Europe’s most beautiful vineyard as Goethe once used to call the Rotaliana plain.
